No Purchase Necessary To Enter or Win! Participation constitutes entrant's full and unconditional agreement to and acceptance of these Official Rules. “Channellock Football Challenge” Sweepstakes ("Sweepstakes") will begin at 12:00am Eastern Time ("ET") on August 4, 2008 and end at 11:59pm ET on February 1, 2009 ("Sweepstakes Period"). Sweepstakes is sponsored by Channellock Inc., 1306 South Main Street, Meadville, PA 16335, (the "Sponsor"), who is solely responsible for all aspects of this Sweepstakes.
Eligibility: Sweepstakes is open to all legal residents of the United States, D.C., and Canada (except in the province of Quebec, where it is void, and wherever else prohibited or restricted by law), 18 years of age or older, as of August 4, 2008. Employees, officers and directors of the Sponsor (Channellock Inc.), affiliates, subsidiaries, agents, advertising and promotion agencies, (collectively including Sponsor, “Sweepstakes Entities”) their immediate family members (parents, children, siblings, spouses) and persons living in the same household (whether related or not), are not eligible to participate in the Sweepstakes. All federal, state and local laws and regulations apply. If it is found that a person who does not meet the eligibility criteria set forth in these rules has submitted an entry, that entry will be deemed ineligible and any prize awarded shall be revoked. Void where prohibited.
How to Enter: A qualified person may enter by visiting www.channellocksweepstakes.com, clicking on the “Channellock Football Challenge” Sweepstakes graphic and completing the online Sweepstakes registration form. The information required on the entry form: Name, Address (includes City, State, and Zip Code), Date of Birth, and E-mail address. All entries must be received by 11:59pm EST on February 1, 2009 to qualify for the Grand Prize.
Only one entry per person per e-mail address or per mailing address is allowed for each drawing during the sweepstakes period. Each drawing throughout the Sweepstakes period includes entries beginning on Monday (at 12:00:00 AM ET) thru the second Sunday (at 11:59:59 PM ET). The Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any person or e-mail address that submits more than maximum allowed entries. Incomplete entries, or those containing incorrect information, will be voided. Proof of sending or submission will not be deemed to be proof of receipt by Sponsor. Use of any automated system to submit entries is prohibited and will result in disqualification of all such entries as well as the entrant. By participating in this Sweepstakes, entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of the Sweepstakes Administrator. All entries become the property of the Sponsor and may not be acknowledged or returned.
Internet Limitations of Liability: If for any reason this Sweepstakes is not capable of running as planned due to infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes beyond the control of the Sponsor which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this Sweepstakes, the Sponsor reserves the right at its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Sweepstakes in whole or in part, at any time, without notice and award the prizes using all non-suspect eligible entries received as of or after (if applicable) this termination or suspension date. Sweepstakes Entities assume no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to, or alteration of, entries. Sweepstakes Entities are not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or telephone lines, computer on-line systems, servers, or providers, computer equipment, software, failure of any e-mail or entry to be received by Sponsor on account of technical problems, human error or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any Website, or any combination thereof, including any injury or damage to participant's or any other person's computer relating to or resulting from participation in this Sweepstakes or downloading any materials in this Sweepstakes. CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE ANY WEBSITE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE SWEEPSTAKES IS A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS AND SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, THE SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES OR OTHER REMEDIES FROM ANY SUCH PERSON(S) RESPONSIBLE FOR THE ATTEMPT TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. In the event of a dispute as to the identity of a winner based on an e-mail address, the winning entry will be declared made by the authorized account holder of the e-mail address submitted at time of entry. "Authorized account holder" is defined as the natural person who is assigned to an e-mail address by an Internet access provider, on-line service provider or other organization (e.g., business, educational, institution, etc.) that is responsible for assigning e-mail addresses for the domain associated with the submitted e-mail address.
Grand Prize: There will be One (1) Grand Prize awarded every other week during the Sweepstakes period. Each Grand Prize winner will receive a Channellock Tool Roll. The Approximate Retail Value of each Grand Prize is $100. There will be eleven (11) Grand Prize winners awarded during the Sweepstakes period. Only the listed prize will be awarded.
By accepting any of the aforementioned prizes, prize winners agree to release Sweepstakes Entities from any and all liability whatsoever for any injuries, losses, or damages of any kind caused by entering the Sweepstakes or for damages of any kind caused by any prize or resulting from acceptance, possession, or use or misuse or failure to use any prize awarded. Sponsor has not made any warranty, representation or guarantee, expressed or implied, in fact or in law, with respect to any prize and specifically disclaims all such warranties, including, without limitation, any warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. The prizes are awarded “AS IS” and WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. Prizes are not exchangeable, transferable, or redeemable for cash. There are no substitutions unless specified by the Sponsor. The Sponsor reserves the right at its sole discretion to substitute any prize package with another prize of equal or greater value. Limit one prize per person/family/household email or mailing address during the Sweepstakes period.
Drawing and Notification: The Grand Prize winners will be selected, from among all eligible entries received, in a series of random drawings on or about the following dates: 8/19/08, 9/2/08, 9/16/08, 9/30/08, 10/14/08, 10/28/08, 11/11/08, 11/25/08, 12/9/08, 12/23/08, 1/6/09. The drawings will be completed by The American Sweepstakes & Promotion Co., an independent judging organization, whose decisions are final in all matters relating to this Sweepstakes. Odds of winning will depend on the total number of eligible entries received. All Grand Prize winners will be notified by telephone and/or mail, or other home delivery service.
Prize Conditions: Prize winners are solely responsible for all applicable federal, state, and local taxes associated with the receipt of any prize. If a Canadian citizen wins a prize they will be required to answer, unaided, a mathematical skill-testing question. If a potential winner from Canada cannot be contacted and the skill test administered within three (3) days of notification, or the question is not correctly answered, the prize will be forfeited and an alternate winner will be selected. Return of any prize notification as undeliverable will result in disqualification and an alternate winner will be selected. The winner’s entry and acceptance of the prize offered constitutes permission (except where prohibited by law or Sponsor’s Privacy Policy) for the Sponsor to use said winner’s name, photograph, likeness, statements, biographical information, voice and address (city and state), in all forms of media, in perpetuity, without notice or further compensation.
Terms & Conditions: This Sweepstakes is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws. By participating, entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of the Sweepstakes Administrator, and waive any right to claim ambiguity in the Sweepstakes or these Official Rules. Entrants also consent to the use of the personal data they submit to be used solely by the sponsor and affiliated partners for marketing purposes, statistical analysis, or customer relations. This information will never be sold or shared with third parties and all entrants will be given the opportunity to opt-out at any time. The Grand Prize winner and all entrants also agree to release, discharge, indemnify and hold harmless the Sweepstakes Entities from and against any claims, damages or liability due to any injuries, damages or losses to any person (including death) or property of any kind resulting in whole or in any part, directly or indirectly, from acceptance, possession, use or misuse of prize offered, or participation in this Sweepstakes. Any person attempting to defraud or in any way tamper with the Sweepstakes mechanics and/or implementation will be prosecuted to the full extent of the law. This Sweepstakes is void where prohibited.

Privacy Notice: Sponsor collects information about users when registering for sweepstakes. Sponsor may send various promotional material and/or special product offerings via e-mails to each sweepstakes entrant. Each entrant has the option of opting out of receiving the e-mails at any time. Other information collected will only be used for statistical purposes and contact information will not be used without your expressed permission except to notify the Winner of the award.
